Zubair and Zuheb: Bonjour! Hello! [waving]

Lynn Bannister: This is your new alarm clock. It works with the smoke alarm, which is here, so you will only have one pillow pad, so when your alarm clock goes off, the lights will flash on the outside, the pillow pad will vibrate, and it will also make a sound.

But we can switch either the sound or the light off, or leave them both on or have one. It will always vibrate using the pillow pad.

Zubair: Is that to go under your pillow?

Lynn Bannister: Under your pillow… that goes under your pillow.

Zubair: Oh, that vibrates under my head.

Lynn Bannister:I'll plug it in and show you how it works.

Zuheb: Ok.

Lynn Bannister:Now that's working.

Zuheb: That makes it easier for me to wake up in the morning. My brother [pointing to Zubair] has to wake me up.

Lynn Bannister: You have to wake him up?

Zuheb:Yeah, every morning.

Lynn Bannister: Well now you can both wake up, at the same time.

Zubair: Yeah, I'm so tired of going upstairs.

Zuheb [to his brother]: How will that help you?

Zubair: It will help me to wake up early so I won’t be late for school.

Razia: [laughing] I have to come upstairs and wake him up.

Zuheb: But now I wake up by myself.

Lynn Bannister: Are you pleased to have this in your room now?

Zuheb: Yes.

Razia: I want this for him because if he's upstairs and he can’t hear any voices, it flashes and he will know if something's happened.

Zuheb: Thank you for that alarm clock that you gave us. Really, thank you.

Zubair: Thank you, thank you very much.

Zuheb: Bye.

Zubair: Bye.
